Biography

Elyse Galloway is the current Vice President - Health; Lead - Multicultural Health Speciality at Edelman. Galloway is chiefly passionate about transforming public health & scientific insights into engaging programming that systemically and sustainably improves population health. Beginning her tenure at Edelman specializing in health crisis and issues, Elyse has transitioned to support a number of biopharmaceutical, health system, public health and consumer health clients and co-leads Edelman’s multicultural health specialty. With nearly a decade working within the public health world, Elyse has contributed to diverse initiatives spanning health equity, social impact, corporate reputation, regulatory affairs and brand. Appreciating the power of public-private partnerships, she works to leverage the competencies of diverse stakeholders to maximize reach and impact. Most recently, Elyse led Edelman’s ImmUNITY Chicago program, a behavioral science pilot program aimed at building vaccine confidence and immunization intention across diverse populations in Chicago. Previous to her time in public relations, Elyse worked within the non-profit and public sector world, contributing to Sesame Street in Communities Traumatic Experiences initiative and serving as the Special Assistant to the Director of Policy, Communications and Education at the National Human Genome Research Institute at the NIH.
