Yale School of Public Health MPH and MS students obtain foundational coursework in biostatistics, epidemiology, social and structural determinants of health inequities, health policy, and health care systems to ground students with the breadth of skill sets and perspectives essential to careers in public health.

Students focus their public health studies in one of seven academic areas:


Engage with our students in a variety of ways— virtually or in person

  • Serve as a highlighted organization in our weekly newsletter, seen by the entire YSPH student body.
  • Publicize a job or internship in Handshake, the career management platform.
  • Introduce your organization to highly qualified candidates by meeting with students one-on-one or in small groups.
  • Attend a virtual career fair— held in the fall and spring.
  • Host an information session anytime during the academic year to increase your organization’s brand recognition and inform about opportunities.
  • Hold on-campus interviews.
